Noodles with fried pork. One of the most popular noodles in HK. You can find it almost in every place in HK. The Cafe de coral’s noodles with fried pork is above average with vinegar inside, making the noodles less salty and comfortable to taste in hot summer. A cup of green tea is recommended to have with it.

Instant vegetable noodles

The easiest way to have noodles with pork soup is to buy a pack of instant noodles with pork soup in the supermarket. Boil the noodles with some cabbages and then add boiled water to dilute the soup powder. It’s all done in ten minutes.

Taiwan Beef Noodles Ⅲ

I happened to find  the Noodles with Fried Soy Bean Paste in the Taiwan restaurant. It’s said to be South-Taiwan special flavor, though tasted the same with the Beijing traditional Fried Soy Bean Paste noodles. The noodles are plain-looking but striking in triggering my nostalgia.

Hot-pot rice noodle

Hot-pot rice noodleMany small cities in China offer you various cheap choices of Hot-pot rice noodles. The restaurant I found in Amoy, a sea-port in south-east China, is embedded in sea-food restaurants. They provide six types of noodles, ranging from Ramen to rice noodles to instant noodles.

Drained Noodles at Campus

Next door to the restaurant selling Ramen. Drained noodles are everywhere in Hong Kong, but in this place, noodles are topped with countless shrimps. Good choice with HK$37. The money higher than average is probably for the shrimps.

Fu Yu Congee and Noodles Restaurant

Fu Yu Congee and Noodles Restaurant

Fried Noodles. Fried noodles and Fried White Radish Patty in together with soya-bean milk are one of the flagship breakfast sets in Fu Yu Congee and Noodles Restaurant. It is acceptable for quick breakfast though each bite of it fuels your needs for more water.

As far as I see, near MTR Tsuen Wan station, was placed lots of congee restaurants and even more tiny stalls selling fried noodles. Some of them make traditional north-China breakfast, the deep-fried dough sticks as well. The fied noodles sometimes can also be taken away in traditional Chinese paper-packege, making you feel yourself lost in streets of 20th century.

Bad Bou Noodles

The cheapest noodles in Kowloon City

Address: No.7, Nga Tsin Wai Rd, Kowloon City, Kowloon

Bad Bou Noodles ($22, Noodles with 8 different kinds of toppings) is almost the cheapest noodles I tried in Kowloon City, though it’s not very much outstanding in flavor. I had  it many times when I was hungry, but still have no idea about some of its ingredients. It seems more than noodles with different kinds of meat and sausages. Have a wild guess about what they are might liven eating the noodles up.
